Rikolto Tanzania is looking for qualified young talent development HR and Administration professionals to Support the administration department in the Arusha office. Reports to: Senior P & O/HR and Admin Officer and Regional P&O/HR/Admin manager


Job purpose: To provide support on various issues pertaining to personnel, Human resources, and office administration

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, and copying to management.

  • Perform receptionist roles and answer the office telephone.

  • Ensure office cleanliness and related issues.

  • Workshop/meeting conferences arrangement and follow-ups

  • Maintain the filing system and logs for travel and procurements.

  • Flight booking and payment follow-ups.

  • Accommodation management for all events taking place in Arusha.

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system for HR-related documents.

  • Manage the petty cash box and Excel petty cash management.

  • Maintain office supplies for regional office and consumables management.

  • Prepare petty cash voucher.

  • Communicate to staff and vendors on the status of payment and collect payment acknowledgment/receipt.

  • Coordinating request approvals from the budget holder from other offices

  • Communication responsibilities- vacancy publishing in the newspaper and on the website.

  • Operating office photocopiers

  • HR and administration support when needed.

Expected Outputs

  • Ensure that the office is well-equipped with consumables.

  • Ensure the office cleanliness.

  • Ensure a proper filing system in the office.

  • Arrange accommodation and conference booking for partners, staff, volunteers, and visitors for the program.

  • Provide support in the human resources management process of the office.

  • Receive and attend visitors coming to the office.

  • Prepare payment vouchers and payment requests.

  • All administrative issues

Education and Experience

  • Be a graduate from 2021 onward

  • Have graduated with either a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human resources and administration.

  • Be a resident of Arusha as interns will have to find their accommodation

  • Be a highly committed and disciplined person capable of working actively with staff and different stakeholders.

  • Be Committed, reliable, and trustworthy

  • Good knowledge of English

  • Good Computer skills (office automation)

  • A strong sense of discretion

  • Expected transport allowance per month TZS 400,000
