Invitation to bid: Designing & printing training manuals

Rikolto is an international NGO with more than 40 years’ experience in partnering farmer organisations and food chain stakeholders across Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Rikolto runs programmes in 14 countries worldwide through seven regional offices. We’re a close-knit network of accessible and knowledgeable colleagues, willing to share experience and eager to inspire others. For more than 30 years, Rikolto in East Africa (formerly known as VECO East Africa) has worked continuously to achieve one goal: a better deal for farmers. Currently Rikolto in East Africa is operating in two countries which include Tanzania and Uganda.

Rikolto under the EU-DINU programme focuses on building strong and professional business farmers organizations that can suitably engage key actors in value chains and extend service delivery to members. To attain this, Rikolto has developed cooperatives / Farmer Business Organisations (FBOs) training materials on internal management (governance/leadership, internal organization, business planning), however, it is expected that developed and printed out guide books will be used to build the potential capacity of the cooperatives / FBOs to acts effective in value chains, management of organizations effectively and provide substantial services to respective members.

In this light, Rikolto invites qualified and competent bidders to bid for the designing and printing high-quality training materials on internal management to smallholder farmers in Northern Uganda.
