Bongomin Group Limited, with 50% funding from aBi through Rikolto International, is launching an invitation to tender for the provision of logistics and international transport services under the Climate-Resilient Businesses for Wetland-Adjacent Communities project. The assignment aims to support the efficient and reliable shipment of imported goods and to establish a long-term logistics partnership for the period 2026–2028.
The selected service provider will be responsible for end-to-end logistics operations, including international multimodal transportation, customs clearance in compliance with Ugandan regulations, warehousing, inventory management, and final-mile distribution to designated locations in Uganda. The service must ensure reliability, compliance, and timely delivery across the entire supply chain.
The scope of services also includes real-time shipment tracking and reporting, proactive risk management and insurance coverage, as well as contingency measures to address delays, disruptions, or emergency situations. Bidders are expected to demonstrate strong operational capacity, appropriate IT systems, and experience in managing complex international supply chains.
The tender is open to qualified and experienced logistics companies with at least five years of proven experience in international transport services. The evaluation will follow the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method, combining administrative, technical, and financial compliance.
