Rikolto Uganda invites qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the bulk supply and distribution of organic fertilizers under the GIZ SAFE–CSA Uganda Project.

Rikolto is an international non-governmental organization with over 50 years of experience working with farmer organizations and food system stakeholders across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. With financial support from the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), Rikolto Uganda is implementing the SAFE–CSA Uganda Project, which aims to promote Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), regenerative production systems, and inclusive extension models.
Within this framework, Rikolto Uganda invites qualified and reliable suppliers with proven experience in bulk agricultural input supplies to submit quotations for the supply of organic fertilizers, including transportation and distribution across the districts of Kyotera, Bukomansimbi, Mubende, Kassanda, Nakaseke, Mityana, Nwoya, and Omoro. Distribution of the fertilizers is planned for February and July 2026.
1. SR fertilizer
Organic fertilizer supplied in 25 kg bags
Quantity: 6,000 bags
2. Bio Farm fertilizer
Pure organic fertilizer supplied in bottles
Quantity: 4,000 bottles
Interested suppliers are required to submit a complete application package comprising:
• a detailed financial quotation covering all requested items and including transportation and distribution costs;
• a valid TIN number;
• the ability to issue EFRIS-compliant invoices;
• evidence of previous bulk supplies, such as copies of contracts, delivery notes, or reference letters.
Applications must be submitted no later than 10th February 2026 at 5:00 PM (East Africa Time) through one of the following channels:
• by email to eastafrica.recruitment@rikolto.org
• or by hand delivery to the Rikolto Kampala Office.
The email subject line must clearly indicate:
“Quotation for Supply of GIZ SAFE Project Organic Fertilizers.”
Late submissions will not be considered.
All quotations received by the deadline will be evaluated based on the total cost quoted for all listed items and compliance with the eligibility requirements.
