TOR: Coaching food companies on circularity and inclusive business practices

The aim is to support up to 3 food companies in Mbale City, that are locally influential and have a significant impact on their communities in terms of food security, waste reduction, environmental sustainability and inclusive employment. Young Professionals Programme

You’ll be part of our Youth Professional Program. This program enables young graduates to develop and apply their skills in a real-life context. This benefits both the young professionals and Rikolto, as you as a young professionals can learn from experienced Rikolto staff, and Rikolto can benefit from the new skills of you as a young professionals.

As young professional you are supervised and gain work experience in Rikolto's field of work, according to your own areas of interest. After recruitment you’ll be assigned a supervisor who will help you to come up with clear results for your employment and an evaluation plan.

Programme internship

You'll be working in one of our three programme teams: Coffee & Cacao, Rice, or Good Food for Cities.

Depending on the teams' needs at the time of your application, you may either support our global programme directors with some of their international initatives or help in the implementation of a specific project on the ground in one of our regional teams.

Are you interested in monitoring and evaluation? Then, you could also work with our M&E staff on gathering, analysing, visualising and communicating data from our projects.
