Tender Advertisement for Supplying Construction Materials for Igawilo Market Food Stalls

Rikolto in East Africa, in collaboration with TCCIA and Mbeya City Council, invites qualified suppliers to participate in a tender for providing construction materials for the EU-funded Food Smart City Project. The project focuses on enhancing market infrastructure by constructing 186 improved food stalls at Igawilo Market, Mbeya City. These stalls will support better food safety practices, ensuring safe handling, storage, and sale of fruits and vegetables. Eligible suppliers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply by September 9th, 2024.

Young Professionals Programme

You’ll be part of our Youth Professional Program. This program enables young graduates to develop and apply their skills in a real-life context. This benefits both the young professionals and Rikolto, as you as a young professionals can learn from experienced Rikolto staff, and Rikolto can benefit from the new skills of you as a young professionals.

As young professional you are supervised and gain work experience in Rikolto's field of work, according to your own areas of interest. After recruitment you’ll be assigned a supervisor who will help you to come up with clear results for your employment and an evaluation plan.

Programme internship

You'll be working in one of our three programme teams: Coffee & Cacao, Rice, or Good Food for Cities.

Depending on the teams' needs at the time of your application, you may either support our global programme directors with some of their international initatives or help in the implementation of a specific project on the ground in one of our regional teams.

Are you interested in monitoring and evaluation? Then, you could also work with our M&E staff on gathering, analysing, visualising and communicating data from our projects.
